Why Gobar Gas, and Why Now?

Gobar (cow dung), a natural byproduct of rural life in India, has immense untapped potential. Instead of letting it decompose and release harmful methane into the atmosphere, we are converting it into a clean and renewable source of energy.
How Our Gobar Gas Plant Works
At GoDesi Farms, cow dung collected from our farm is processed in a biogas plant where it undergoes anaerobic digestion.
This process helps us:
- Capture methane gas and use it as fuel for our farm kitchen
- Reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions
- Produce nutrient-rich organic fertilizer as a byproduct
This closed-loop system ensures that nothing goes to waste.
Powering Our Kitchen, Naturally
The biogas generated is directly used in our plant kitchen, replacing conventional fuels like LPG. This not only reduces our carbon footprint but also promotes a self-sustaining ecosystem within the farm.

Organic Fertilizer: Back to the Soil
What remains after gas extraction is not waste—it is high-quality organic manure.
This fertilizer:
